VALLEY OF THE KING

Ini tempat kubur-kubur kerabat diraja kena tanam..actually kami tak masuk ke dalam sebab tak larat nak tengok kubur-kubur ni plus harga tiket pulak mahal..so stay di luar sahaja la habiskan masa..haha

The Valley of the Kings (Arabicوادي الملوك‎ Wādī al Mulūk), less often called the Valley of the Gates of the Kings. With the 2005 discovery of a new chamber (KV63), and the 2008 discovery of two further tomb entrances,[5] the valley is known to contain 63 tombs and chambers (ranging in size from KV54, a simple pit, to KV5, a complex tomb with over 120 chambers).[6] It was the principal burial place of the major royal figures of the Egyptian New Kingdom, together with those of a number of privileged nobles.

HATSHEPSUT TEMPLE

The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Holies"), is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. The mortuary temple is dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra and is located next to the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II, which served both as an inspiration, and later, a quarry. It is considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt."
